Product Overview

The ZMCC pulse jet air filters are mid-sized dust collectors designed to meet ultra-low emission requirements. Its optimized structural design achieves high filtration efficiency with low operating resistance. Pulse jet cleaning ensures effective dust removal with reliable operation and easy maintenance. Widely applied in cement, metallurgy, power, and chemical industries for dust-laden gas filtration and material recovery.

Operating Principle

1. Structure Description

The ZMCC pulse jet air filters comprise a filter chamber casing, clean air plenum casing, filter bags and bag cages, pulse jet cleaning system, hopper, and air slide or flap valve.

2. Working Principles

2.1. Filtration Conditions

Dust-laden gas enters through the inlet of the air plenum (or directly through the hopper inlet on smaller models), is redirected by the inclined partition toward the hopper, where reduced flow velocity allows coarser particles to fall under inertia. Finer particles are carried upward into the filter chamber, where they are retained on the outer surface of the filter bags by the dust cake filtration layer. Cleaned gas passes through the interior of the filter bags into the clean air chamber and is discharged to the atmosphere via the system fan.

2.2 Dust Removing Conditions

When dust accumulation on the outer bag surface reaches a set thickness and the inlet/outlet differential pressure reaches the preset value, the pulse jet system initiates row-by-row cleaning. The pulse valves mounted on the air manifold at the top of the unit open sequentially, injecting compressed air into each row of bags in short bursts. The reverse high-velocity airflow causes sudden bag expansion, generating deformation and vibration that dislodges the accumulated dust, which settles into the hopper and is discharged via air slide or flap valve. Upon completion of the full cleaning cycle, the controller shuts off and the filter returns to normal operation. The entire cleaning process is controlled by a PLC programmable controller.

Performance Characteristics

1. Right-angle pulse valves with single-row jet cleaning deliver high cleaning intensity.

2. Snap-ring filter bag top design ensures reliable sealing and easy installation and removal.

3. High-quality steel wire, multi-point welded automated production line, and galvanized surface treatment yield bag cages with high strength and rigidity, free of weld burrs, reducing mechanical abrasion and extending service life.

4. Top-lift cover access design enables quick and convenient filter bag replacement.

5. Wedge-shaped inlet arrangement provides a compact structure, uniform airflow distribution, and low resistance.

6. PLC-based pulse cleaning control ensures reliable operation and a high level of automation.
